Hello good people and fellow lovers of a good murder mystery! I am excited to report that my newest Cape May-based mystery is now out and available. (Okay, it came out in September, but sometimes I forget to take care of details, like updating this website!)
“Windy With a Chance of Murder” is my 6th novel and the 4th murder mystery taking place in Cape May, NJ. I think the story is a lot of fun and will grab you. Cape May Police Chief Tate Saxby and his small team of officers are once again hot on the trail of a killer in the small, beautiful town at the southern tip of New Jersey. And once again, it’s a puzzle that will only reveal itself layer by layer, but as before–eventually–“murder will out”, and justice will prevail. (Hopefully.)
Like with my other three murder mysteries that take place in Cape May, “Murder at Exit 0”, “Murder Is a SHORE Thing”, and “Death Rents a Beach House”, it isn’t really necessary that you be familiar with the town to enjoy the story. If you know Cape May, that just adds some fun to your reading because you may recognize where the characters are having lunch, or you might be able to picture where they are as they drive through town. But if you don’t know Cape May, just fill in some other small town, either real or imagined. Maybe one that’s a bit hard to get in and out of, like a town on an island or perhaps at the end of a peninsula.
I hope you’ll give “Windy With a Chance of Murder” a try and I hope you’ll enjoy it! You can pick up your copy at “The Whale’s Tale” gift shop on Washington Street Mall in Cape May, or at “The Craft Coleidoscope” shop on Creek Road in Mt. Laurel, NJ (Rancocas Woods). And of course, all of my books are available on Amazon, and there is a link to that option in the menu at the top of this page. Lastly, almost any other book store, such as Barnes & Noble, should be able to order it for you.
Check it out and please do let me know what you think via the contact form on this website. Thanks and happy reading!
